Deck overview

This deck is a Bant midrange creature-storm strategy commanded by Helga, Skittish Seer. The game plan focuses on rapid early-game acceleration into Helga, followed by a steady curve of creatures with mana value 4 or greater. Each qualifying creature replaces itself, buffs Helga, and expands her ability to produce mana for subsequent large spells. As untappers like Chakram Retriever and cost reducers like Defiler of Vigor enter play, Helga allows the pilot to chain several massive creatures in a single turn. The deck finishes games through overwhelming combat damage aided by trample and unblockable enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, or through alternative payoffs such as Twenty-Toed Toad. High interaction density and versatile defensive spells support the engine, though a lack of direct tutors means the deck relies on sheer draw volume to maintain consistency.
