gandalf by Seincopa

Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Westward Voyager

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gandalf, Westward Voyager leads a Simic big-mana deck built to cast spells with mana value 5 or more, turning them into card advantage and copies. The primary plan is to ramp to seven-plus lands, resolve a large threat (Titan of Industry, Thunderfoot Baloth, Biogenic Ooze), and close with Overwhelming Stampede or Ezuri's Predation. A secondary, more compact path is the Doppelgang + Peregrine Drake + Eternal Witness loop that creates unbounded Drake and Witness tokens. No hidden commander exists. Gandalf's role is a repeatable payoff: every big spell either copies itself (with an opponent's reveal) or draws a card, creating explosive advantage and enabling the board to outclass opponents.
