Deck overview

This is a maximum-power Abzan combo-toolbox deck helmed by Tayam, Luminous Enigma. The deck treats +1/+1 counters as a resource to fuel Tayam's activated ability, which mills three cards and returns any permanent with mana value 3 or less from the graveyard to the battlefield. The primary game plan is to deploy a dense suite of mana dorks, use premium tutors to assemble one of several compact infinite combos, and then deploy an outlet such as Walking Ballista or White Plume Adventurer to close the game. Stax pieces like Archon of Emeria and Grand Abolisher protect the combo turn, while Birthing Ritual and Agatha's Soul Cauldron provide additional layers of redundancy and value.
