Deck overview

This deck leverages Ingris Stingerquill to turn standard combat attacks into table-wide poison delivery. Because Ingris specifies that the attacking creature itself deals 1 noncombat damage to each opponent, any attacking creature with infect automatically gives a poison counter to every opponent upon declaring an attack. Backed by cheap infect threats like Plague Stinger, Flensermite, and Phyrexian Crusader, alongside infect auras such as Glistening Oil and Phyresis, the deck bypasses traditional combat blockers entirely. Damage modifiers like Ojer Axonil, Deepest Might and Fiery Emancipation amplify these triggers into lethal bursts, while cards like Phyresis Outbreak and Vraska, Betrayal's Sting proliferate the table to 10 poison counters. Red and black rituals provide the speed necessary to outpace opposing development, while efficient spot removal clears problematic enemy permanents.
