Deck overview

This Dimir Zombie reanimator deck is helmed by the partner pair Tormod, the Desecrator and Ghost of Ramirez DePietro. The core plan mills and tutors creatures into the graveyard, then reanimates them while converting every departure from the yard into tapped 2/2 Zombie tokens via Tormod. Ramirez provides selective recursion on combat damage and an evasive body. The deck layers aristocrats drains (Diregraf Captain, Plague Belcher), go-wide token swarms amplified by Necroduality and Rooftop Storm, mass reanimation (Living Death, Rot Hulk, Empty the Laboratory), and sacrifice-outlet loops with Ashnod's Altar, Altar of Dementia, Warren Soultrader, and Pitiless Plunderer. Secondary paths include flying combat enabled by Wonder or Hordewing Skaab. It plays as a resilient midrange combo deck that grinds value through the graveyard and explodes once free-cast or drain engines come online.
