Deck overview

This Simic deck is commanded by Omo, Queen of Vesuva and specializes in manipulating land and creature types using everything counters. By assigning everything counters to utility lands, Omo turns every land into a Locus, Urza land, Desert, Gate, and basic land simultaneously. This causes Cloudpost to tap for extraordinary amounts of mana while unlocking unique synergies across various typal cards. The deck uses this massive mana advantage to deploy explosive landfall engines like Avenger of Zendikar, Scute Swarm, and Tatyova, Benthic Druid, or cast overwhelming spells like Genesis Wave. It also incorporates compact land packages such as Dark Depths and Thespian's Stage to generate massive threats on demand. A robust suite of free and efficient countermagic protects setup turns, allowing the deck to rapidly amass an unstoppable board and finish the game with overwhelming combat damage.
