Deck overview

This mono-red aggressive deck is commanded by Vaan, Street Thief, focusing on combat-triggered theft, Treasure generation, and tribal synergies with Scouts, Pirates, and Rogues. The strategy deploys cheap, evasive attackers early to trigger Vaan on Turn 4, exiling cards from opponents' libraries and generating Treasures to cast them. Casting stolen spells places +1/+1 counters across your board, steadily scaling your army into a lethal threat. Payoffs like Nalfeshnee, Flaming Tyrannosaurus, and Iraxxa, Empress of Mars reward you for casting spells from exile, while combat finishers like Port Razer and Swashbuckler Extraordinaire close out games. The deck operates with excellent card flow and resilience against commander removal, but relies on fair combat damage, lacks direct tutors, and carries minimal stack interaction or board-wipe protection.
