Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive Boros token swarm and direct-damage strategy commanded by Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon. The game plan centers on casting Anim Pakal early and attacking repeatedly with non-Gnome creatures to accumulate +1/+1 counters and spawn an exponentially growing army of tapped and attacking 1/1 Gnome artifact tokens. High-impact enchantments and creatures like Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, and Warleader's Call weaponize every token entry into table-wide direct burn, while anthems like Cathars' Crusade and Goldnight Commander turn small Gnomes into massive combat threats. The list runs a dense suite of token doublers and combat enablers, but operates strictly on basic lands without fast mana or cheap ramp rocks. It contains zero dedicated tutor spells and almost no reactive instant-speed interaction. As a result, the deck races to an overwhelming board state by Turn 5 and a lethal finish on Turn 6, relying on proactive aggression rather than control.
