Ur Dragon 25/8/26 by user5808601

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Five-color Dragon tribal built around The Ur-Dragon's eminence cost reduction. The deck develops with mana rocks and Shaman reducers, casts large Dragons ahead of curve, and attacks to turn Ur-Dragon's draw-and-cheat trigger and the attacking Elder Dragons' d20 triggers into a snowball. Finishers are Atarka double strike, extra combat from Hellkite Charger/All-Out Assault, and token multiplication from Miirym/Lathliss/Legion Loyalty. Tiamat provides a tutor package. The commander is best left in the command zone unless the board is stable; its attack trigger is a bonus engine rather than the only plan. There is no deterministic infinite combo; combat must connect. There is no hidden commander and no double-faced commander in the command zone.
