Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy strategy designed to exploit the power-reduction mechanic of Ghalta, Primal Hunger. In the opening turns, the deck deploys hyper-efficient mana dorks and undercosted high-power creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Gigantosaurus. These oversized threats rapidly reduce Ghalta's casting cost to a mere two green mana as early as Turn 4. Once Ghalta enters the battlefield, power-matters card draw engines like Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Rishkar's Expertise refill the hand, ensuring continuous gas. The deck converts its board presence into rapid eliminations through overwhelming combat damage, leveraging trample enablers and mass pump effects like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth to close out the table by Turn 7. While vulnerable to creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck's high redundancy and standalone beaters provide strong operational resilience.
