Deck overview

Satoru Umezawa turns every creature card in hand into a ninjutsu threat, so this Dimir deck is built around cheating huge creatures into play for just {2}{U}{B}. The plan is to establish a cheap unblockable creature like Mist-Cloaked Herald or Slither Blade, cast Satoru, swing, and then ninjutsu in a bomb such as Archon of Cruelty, Rune-Scarred Demon, or Mindleech Mass. Because the ninjutsu'd creature enters tapped and attacking, it is already past blockers, and its ETB/attack triggers fire immediately. Satoru's once-per-turn trigger digs three cards deep to keep the chain fed, while Coastal Piracy, Bident of Thassa, and Reconnaissance Mission turn every hit into cards. A small reanimation package and several theft effects provide recovery and alternate angles. There are no infinite combos; this deck wins through accumulating evasive combat damage, life loss triggers, and casting opponents' own spells against them.
