Elves In The Building by TheMartyrMaker

Format: Commander

Commander: Lathril, Blade of the Elves

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Lathril, Blade of the Elves is a Golgari elf-ball deck that marries explosive token generation with life-drain payoffs. The primary plan is to flood the board with Elf Warrior tokens through Lathril's combat trigger, Elvish Promenade, and Second Harvest, then close through Shaman of the Pack, Skemfar Shadowsage, or Lathril's own activated ability. A secondary path is commander damage on Lathril with Trailblazer's Boots / Rogue's Passage and Timberwatch Elf. The commander is central but not the only engine; draw pieces like Realmwalker and Beast Whisperer keep the chain going. Doubling enchantments multiply both tokens and counters, and the deck can pivot between aggro and combo-like drain kills. There is no hidden commander; the deck is built directly around Lathril.
