Deck overview

This Golgari deck harnesses undercosted, massive creatures to fuel power-based sacrifice engines and burst direct damage. Commanded by Tom, Bert, and William, the deck drops enormous stat monsters like Daemogoth Titan, Rotting Regisaur, and Phyrexian Dreadnought early, then sacrifices them to draw 7 to 18 cards in a single burst. It converts this card velocity into game-ending finishes using Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord to fling giant creatures at the whole table, draining all three opponents simultaneously, or by swarming the board with Ghalta, Stampede Tyrant and Finale of Devastation. The commander possesses unique resilience against board wipes by returning to the battlefield as an artifact upon death. However, the deck commits heavily to its proactive game plan, running minimal interaction and virtually no protective countermagic, making it vulnerable to well-timed spot removal and opposing fast combo strategies.
