Deck overview

Rendmaw, Creaking Nest is a Golgari goad and grind deck that uses cards with two or more types (Artifact Creature, Enchantment Creature, Artifact Land) to trigger Rendmaw and give every player a tapped 2/2 flying Bird that must attack someone else. You profit while opponents attack each other, then close with incremental drain (Fate Unraveler, Lampad of Death's Vigil, Massacre Wurm), sacrifice value (Dockside Chef, Ashnod's Altar, Grist), and big swings (Demolisher Spawn, Ezuri's Predation, Rise of the Dark Realms). Rendmaw is a political deterrent, not a combo piece; the deck wins without it but is stronger with the goaded board. No infinite combo is present; wins are fair combat and attrition.
