Deck overview

This deck is an Orzhov Aristocrats and token beatdown strategy led by Syr Vondam, Sunstar Exemplar. The game plan revolves around generating temporary creature tokens through mechanics like Mobilize and Myriad, which naturally die or exile at the end of combat or turn steps. Because Syr Vondam triggers whenever another creature you control dies or enters exile, it grows rapidly while padding your life total. Once Syr Vondam's power reaches 4 or greater, it punishes removal by destroying any nonland permanent on departure. Supported by premier drain engines like Bastion of Remembrance and Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, the deck steadily bleeds the table. In addition to fair combat pressure, the list harbors a potent two-card infinite loop with Abdel Adrian, Gorion's Ward and Animate Dead, capable of producing infinite 1/1 Soldiers and infinite death triggers to close out games on the spot.
