Azula by TurkeyChief

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Fire Lord Azula is a combat-spellslinger deck built around one explosive loop: attack with the commander, float {R}{R} from Firebending, then cast cheap combat tricks while she is attacking so each spell gets copied. The deck is stuffed with pump instants like Bulk Up, Antagonize, and Titan's Strength so that even one or two copied spells turns Azula into a 21+ commander-damage threat. A supporting cast of spellslinger pingers - Guttersnipe, Firebrand Archer, and Erebor Flamesmith - chips every opponent with each spell cast, while Dual Strike and Rootha, Mercurial Artist provide extra copy layers. The plan is linear and fragile: cast Azula on turn 4, attack three separate turns, and one-shot one opponent per combat. There is almost no tutoring, recursion, or stack interaction, making this a fast but exposed mid-power aggro/voltron deck.
