FLAMING HOT FIST by user1247902

Format: Commander

Commander: Fire Lord Azula

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This Grixis deck pilots Fire Lord Azula as a spell-slinging combat commander who turns attack steps into copy spells and mana. The engine is simple: attack with Azula, generate {R}{R} from firebending, then cast pump spells and copy them to one-shot an opponent with infect, or chain extra combats via Savage Beating to wipe the table. The deck also packs a compact Demonic Consultation + Thassa's Oracle backup line, giving it a second independent win condition that doesn't require the commander. A low mana curve (2.13 average) and a robust suite of rituals, rocks, and cheap interaction keep the plan fast and resilient. The core tension is balancing Azula's attack trigger with enough protection to keep her alive through the critical turn.
