Deck overview

This deck is an Izzet spellslinger storm list designed to generate explosive mana and card velocity before closing the game in a single decisive turn. While Prismari, the Inspiration sits in the command zone providing a high-end storm force multiplier, the 99 is built around compact, self-sufficient storm engines and combo lines. The primary win condition revolves around resolving Devastating Onslaught and flashing in Dualcaster Mage to create arbitrarily many hasty creature copies that eliminate all three opponents in combat. Alternatively, the deck can storm off using Storm-Kiln Artist, Birgi, God of Storytelling, or Underworld Breach, converting low-cost cantrips and rituals into lethal burn with Grapeshot, Guttersnipe, or Vivi Ornitier. Protection pieces such as Samut, Tyrant of Naktamun and cheap counterspells ensure the deck can execute its critical turn safely.
