Deck overview

This deck is a focused Simic aggressive midrange strategy piloted by Ezuri, Claw of Progress. The game plan hinges on deploying efficient, low-power utility creatures and token generators to rapidly accumulate experience counters on the player. Because experience counters are tied to the player rather than the permanent, Ezuri provides scalable, resilient counter distribution whenever he is on the battlefield. Combat dominance is achieved by stacking +1/+1 counters onto unblockable or trample threats such as Herald of Secret Streams, Champion of Lambholt, and Cold-Eyed Selkie, or multiplying counters via Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider and Bristly Bill, Spine Sower. Supported by a healthy suite of classic blue countermagic and signature green ramp, the deck applies reliable pressure while retaining resilience against spot removal. However, it relies heavily on the combat phase and remains susceptible to resolved creature sweepers.
