Deck overview

This Simic kindred deck leverages low-cost Merfolk creatures to build an aggressive, evasive board while generating substantial card advantage. Led by Tishana, Voice of Thunder, the deck curves out with synergistic one- and two-drop Merfolk that trigger token producers like Deeproot Waters and exploration engines like Hakbal of the Surging Soul. Evasion is guaranteed through islandwalk lords such as Lord of Atlantis and Master of the Pearl Trident, turned into universal unblockability via Harbinger of the Seas or Aquitect's Will. While the deck lacks fast mana and dedicated tutors, its high density of combat-based draw engines ensures a continuous stream of threats. It closes games around Turn 8 through overwhelming, unblockable combat damage, supported by one-sided board resets like Raise the Palisade and countermagic to protect against opposing sweepers.
