Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck leverages Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Agent of the Iron Throne to convert recursive creatures and tokens into card advantage and table-wide life drain. The deck accelerates in the early turns with token generators like Bitterblossom, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, and Ophiomancer before establishing Shadowheart to draw large grips of cards. By turns 5 and 6, it deploys oppressive asymmetric sacrifice engines like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos to continuously clear opposing boards, or power multipliers such as Bloodletter of Aclazotz and Syr Konrad, the Grim. The deck closes games around turn 8 through compounded death triggers, high-devotion Gray Merchant of Asphodel triggers, or mana-fueled finishers like Torment of Hailfire and Exsanguinate. Its strengths lie in extreme card flow, grind resilience, and board suppression, though it remains vulnerable to artifact-heavy strategies and mass graveyard exile.
