Deck overview

Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim is the engine for an Orzhov aristocrats deck that turns creature deaths into table-wide drain and converts life gain into tokens and further drain. There is no double-faced or hidden commander; the deck is built around Elas's two triggers. The primary plan is to create a steady stream of tokens, sacrifice them for value and mana, and finish through Blood Artist-style triggers plus Sanguine Bond and Marauding Blight-Priest life-gain payoffs. Secondary paths include recurring key pieces with Athreos, Priest of Fell Rites, and Moseo, and using Dictate of Erebos and Syr Konrad as attrition. The deck has no true infinite combo, so wins are incremental and grindy.
