Bard, king of dale by smileywaffles

Format: Commander

Commander: Bard, King of Dale

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Bard, King of Dale is a draw and token doubler that turns every extra draw and every token trigger into twice the value. The deck's primary plan is to cast Bard, then generate a wide board of 1/1 Humans and Soldiers with Adeline, Bard's Company, Faramir, Prince Imrahil and cheap spells like Raise the Alarm and Hop to It, and win through combat with anthems or Tetsuko making 1/1s unblockable. Secondary paths use draw-trigger payoffs such as Prince Imrahil, Emrakul's Messenger, Gleaming Splendor and Curiosity Crafter to create tokens or Treasures while you draw. Bard is the central engine; Adeline, Resplendent Cathar serves as a hidden commander that can pressure the table even when Bard is absent.
