Deck overview

This deck is a focused Jeskai Hero tribal aggro strategy helmed by Captain America, Team Leader. The game plan revolves around casting efficient Hero creatures that gain immediate haste, vigilance, and +1/+1 counters upon entering the battlefield. This allows the deck to apply relentless combat pressure while growing the commander and maintaining untapped blockers. The deck converts this aggressive board presence into game wins using powerful combat multipliers such as Coat of Arms, War Machine, Avenging Arsenal, and Herald of Secret Streams, or by clearing opposing boards with Raise the Palisade. It supports this plan with an efficient suite of instant-speed protection spells and countermagic like Boros Charm, Ripples of Potential, and Dovin's Veto to protect against sweepers. The deck reliably creates must-answer board states on turn 5 and closes the game through overwhelming combat damage by turn 7.
