Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue tempo and flying aggro build commanded by Lyra, Tolarian Archangel. The primary strategy revolves around playing at instant speed, leaving mana open during opponents' turns to either cast interaction or resolve efficient three-card draw spells such as Thirst for Discovery, Thirst for Knowledge, and Brainstorm. Drawing three cards in a single turn triggers Lyra's end-step ability, generating an evasive 3/3 blue Angel creature token with flying. Over consecutive turn rotations, the deck amasses a formidable flying aerial army supported by redundant token payoffs like Alandra, Sky Dreamer, Talrand, Sky Summoner, and Ominous Seas. With a robust counterspell suite and asymmetric bounce spells like Raise the Palisade, the deck protects its board state while methodically knocking out opponents with evasive combat damage.
