Deck overview

This mono-black aristocrats deck is piloted by Ghoulcaller Gisa, focusing on generating massive Zombie swarms by sacrificing undercosted, high-power creatures like Phyrexian Soulgorger and Rot-Curse Rakshasa. The game plan accelerates mana through efficient rocks and Sol Ring, deploys high-stat fodder, and resolves Gisa on Turn 4. Untapping on Turn 5 allows Gisa to convert single creatures into 5 to 8 Zombie tokens. From there, the deck leverages wide-board lords such as Undead Warchief and Death Baron alongside potent aristocrat drain engines like Mirkwood Bats, Vengeful Dead, and Ayara, First of Locthwain to drain the entire table while attacking. Asymmetric creature suppression from Noxious Ghoul and Kalitas, Traitor of Ghet clears opposing blockers. While the deck possesses resilient graveyard recursion and redundant beatdown avenues, its primary vulnerability lies in protecting Gisa across the single turn cycle she requires to untap and activate.
