Bant Merfolk by MikonaMTG

Format: Commander

Commander: Thrasios, Triton Hero and Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Merfolk tribal deck that uses the partner commanders as value engines rather than the primary kill. Thrasios smooths land drops and turns spare mana into cards, while Ishai offers an evasive beater that grows in real games. The hidden commander is Kumena, Tyrant of Orazca: most lines build a wide swarm and use Kumena to draw, pump, or make a key creature unblockable. Explore synergies with Hakbal and Nicanzil accelerate lands, while token generators and lords create a resilient army. The primary win is a critical-mass combat swing, with Mist Dancer or a large Tishana/Namor as finishers.
