Deck overview

This deck is a mono-red Spellslinger Storm strategy commanded by Ashling, Flame Dancer. Ashling serves as the central velocity engine, rummaging on every instant or sorcery cast or copied, sweeping opposing small creatures on the second trigger, and refunding four red mana on the third trigger while storing unspent mana across phases. The deck accelerates through low-cost rituals and artifact mana into an explosive Turn 4 assembly. Once established, it chains cheap cantrips, copy effects, and graveyard recursion via Past in Flames and Invoke Calamity. Table-wide damage is dealt through static burn permanents like Guttersnipe, Fiery Inscription, and Coruscation Mage, amplified by damage multipliers like Torbran, Thane of Red Fell and Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, before closing with Grapeshot. A robust suite of redirection spells shields Ashling from targeted interaction throughout the combo turn.
