Deck overview

Auntie Ool, Cursewretch leads a synergistic Jund aristocrats and attrition engine built around -1/-1 counters, wither, and death triggers. The deck accelerates through 1–2 CMC mana dorks and rocks to deploy Auntie Ool on Turn 3, following up on Turn 4 with key enablers like Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, Nest of Scarabs, or Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons. On Turn 5, the deck reaches critical onset, leveraging repeated -1/-1 counter distribution to decimate opposing creatures, generate overwhelming token swarms, and draw large quantities of cards through Auntie Ool and Skullclamp. Over the next two turn cycles, cumulative drain from Obelisk Spider, Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, and The Meathook Massacre closes out the table on Turn 7. Compact infinite lines including All Will Be One with Ob Nixilis, Captive Kingpin, Devoted Druid with Quillspike, and Blowfly Infestation loops provide potent alternate finishes against stax or high life totals.
