Deck overview

This Boros deck turns the 'leaves your graveyard' mechanic into an offensive token and burn engine. Led by Quintorius, History Chaser, the deck uses repeated exile effects from cards like Lion Sash, Alms, Ghost Vacuum, and Shenanigans to generate waves of 3/2 Spirit tokens. These tokens trigger wide burn damage through permanents such as Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Agate Instigator, and Warleader's Call. Quintorius acts as both card selection and finisher, using his +1 to dig through the library and his −4 to grant the Spirit army double strike and vigilance. While the deck boasts resilient redundancy through alternate token generators like Quintorius, Field Historian and Garrison Excavator, it operates primarily at sorcery speed on the battlefield and remains susceptible to well-timed board wipes.
