kykar brown fury by Asphyziate

Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Wind's Fury

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger deck is built around Kykar, Wind's Fury, leveraging its ability to generate a Spirit token on every noncreature spell and to sacrifice those tokens for red mana. The primary game plan is to chain instants and sorceries, amass a critical mass of tokens, and close the game through storm (Grapeshot) or repeated token-ping effects (Impact Tremors, Warleader's Call). The deck also includes a compact infinite-mana/storm line using Birgi, God of Storytelling and Storm-Kiln Artist with any draw spell, finished by Grapeshot or Underworld Breach loops. Token doublers such as Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus multiply the token output, while Thousand-Year Storm and Storm King's Thunder magnify spell copying. The deck is highly synergistic but relies almost entirely on card selection - Ponder, Preordain, Opt, Sensei's Divining Top - rather than true tutors, which constrains consistency.
