Ratty Rats by Tuneli

Format: Commander

Commander: Vren, the Relentless

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Dimir typal control build focused on Vren, the Relentless. Vren functions as both one-sided graveyard hate and an army generator by replacing opposing creature deaths with exile and producing scaling Relentless Rat tokens on each end step. You control the board through targeted removal and edict effects such as Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos, and Plaguecrafter. These effects trigger Vren to spawn massive Rat tokens. You win through overwhelming combat damage aided by typal payoffs like Marrow-Gnawer, Ashcoat of the Shadow Swarm, and Karumonix, the Rat King, or by draining opponents with Valley Rotcaller.
