Deck overview

This Abzan deck is a dedicated toughness-matters combat powerhouse led by Felothar the Steadfast. It turns low-cost, high-toughness defenders into formidable attackers by assigning combat damage with toughness rather than power. The mana base and early curve focus on dropping durable 0/3, 0/4, and 0/5 walls that double as mana producers through Overgrown Battlement and Axebane Guardian. Once Felothar or redundant enablers like Assault Formation and Doran, Besieged by Time hit the board, these walls swing for massive damage. Felothar also converts high toughness into massive card draw, refilling the hand effortlessly. The deck leverages power-disparity sweepers like Dusk // Dawn and Fell the Mighty to clear opposing boards while leaving its own defenders completely unharmed. Win conditions include sudden bursts from Tower Defense, life-total manipulation from Tree of Perdition, doubling effects from Unnatural Growth, and evasion via skulk.
