Deck overview

This deck is a competitive Azorius combo deck centered on Heliod, the Radiant Dawn. The primary strategy accelerates Heliod onto the battlefield using premium fast mana and transforms him into Heliod, the Warped Eclipse on Turn 3. Once transformed, Heliod grants all spells flash and reduces generic mana costs by {1} for every card opponents draw. The deck leverages symmetric draw effects and wheels such as Windfall, Timetwister, and Vision Skeins to reduce the costs of massive payoffs to single colored pips. From there, Hullbreaker Horror and Displacer Kitten bounce and recast positive mana artifacts to generate infinite mana, storm count, and card draw. The deck finishes by forcing all opponents to draw their entire libraries with a lethal Prosperity. Robust zero-mana countermagic, silence effects, and asymmetric stax pieces like Drannith Magistrate protect the combo window and disrupt faster opponents.
