Thor, God of Thunder by TheUrDragonMaster

Format: Commander

Commander: Thor Odinson

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Boros God tribal deck is helmed by Thor Odinson, a combat-centric commander that grows with each noncreature spell thanks to double prowess. The strategy leans heavily into damage multiplication-cards like Fiery Emancipation, Gisela, Blade of Goldnight, and Mjolnir, Hammer of Thor-to turn modest combat and burn damage into lethal swings. A subtheme of extra combat phases (Raiyuu, Storm's Edge, Lightning Runner) and token-generation (Otharri, Suns' Glory) accelerates the clock, while a modest removal suite handles key threats. The deck lacks fast mana and efficient card draw, making its performance inconsistent, but when the pieces line up, it can overwhelm a pod with multiplicative damage.
