Deck overview

This is a five-color midrange/value deck built around Kenrith, the Returned King as a flexible command-zone toolkit rather than a dedicated combo piece. The primary plan is to combine card draw, +1/+1 counter generation, and incidental life gain to build up huge trampling threats and finish through combat. Mossborn Hydra, Big Mother Mouser, Forgotten Ancient, and Ghalta, Primal Hunger are the usual clocks, while Psychosis Crawler, Queza, Augur of Agonies, and Valgavoth, Harrower of Souls convert draw and life-loss triggers into tablewide reach. Kenrith, the Returned King accelerates this by giving the board haste and trample, drawing extra cards, and reanimating key creatures. A secondary mill subtheme exists in Jace, Memory Adept, Space-Time Anomaly, and The Water Crystal, but it is not fast enough to be the main winning line.
