Deck overview

This is a Grixis "amass Orcs" and Ring-tempts value deck helmed by Sauron, the Dark Lord. The primary plan is to grow a single enormous Army token - amassing on every opponent spell via the commander, plus Saruman the White, March from the Black Gate, and Warg Rider - then close with a trampling Army backed by a Wraith swarm from Lord of the Nazgul and the nine-copy Nazgul redundancy. The Ring-tempts subtheme converts into card advantage: the commander's discard-hand-draw-four, Call of the Ring, and Gollum, Patient Plotter keep the hand full. A secondary graveyard axis runs through Underworld Breach, Shadow of the Enemy, and Sauron, Lord of the Rings for recursion and value. The deck is a midrange combat deck with no fast combo - it wins by overwhelming the table with a steadily growing Army and Wraith tokens.
