Deck overview

This Gruul deck harnesses Aerid Konstrari to merge artifact token generation, copy mechanics, and scaling direct burn. The game plan focuses on deploying early ramp and artifact lands to land Aerid ahead of curve on Turn 4. Aerid's enter-and-die triggers generate Heartwood tokens, which simultaneously fix colors, accelerate mana, and scale artifact affinity. During the mid-game, the deck multiplies these tokens using clone spells like Devastating Onslaught and Orthion, Hero of Lavabrink, triggering damage pingers like Ingenious Artillerist and Reckless Fireweaver. Once a critical mass of mana rocks is established, the deck transitions into lethal direct damage via Crackle with Power, Chandra's Ignition, or an overrun with Craterclaw Colossus. Robust stack redirection and resilient death triggers ensure consistent recovery and protection through interaction.
