Deck overview

This deck executes a four-color Polymorph strategy led by Jace, Multiverse Architect. It utilizes cheap non-creature token generators such as Dreadhorde Invasion, Skrelv's Hive, and Staff of the Storyteller alongside dense 2-CMC mana rock acceleration. On turn 4, the deck deploys Jace and activates his −3 ability to exile a token and cheat a massive creature directly from the library onto the battlefield. The creature suite contains game-warping threats including Archon of Cruelty, Archfiend of Despair, Serra's Emissary, and Darksteel Angel. These threats quickly overwhelm opponents through evasive combat damage, life-drain doubling, and asymmetric protection. Strong interactive spells like Swords to Plowshares, Sunfall, and Flawless Maneuver keep the board stable while backup polymorph effects like Mass Polymorph and Proteus Staff ensure redundant threat deployment to close out the game by turn 7.
