Elves by Sachrock

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Sultai Elf-ball combo deck whose entire identity is the command zone: Thranduil, the Elvenking copies every activated ability of every Elf in the graveyard, so the deck aggressively mills and tutors Elves into the yard to turn the commander into a Swiss-army engine. The primary win is infinite green mana via Devoted Druid's untap ability once Thranduil has it, then a mana sink - Staff of Domination to draw the deck, Ezuri, Renegade Leader's overrun, Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord's sacrifice drain, or Lathril, Blade of the Elves' tap-ten-Elves life-loss. The deck also supports a value beatdown plan through lords, token makers, and Finale of Devastation as a tutor-and-craterhoof finisher. Mass recursion in Bloodline Bidding and Victimize rebuilds the board, while a dense mill suite feeds both the commander's abilities and the graveyard recursion.
