Hobbit - Goblins by user1463158

Format: Commander

Commander: The Great Goblin

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a Rakdos Goblin/Army deck built around The Great Goblin's two engines: every time you put counters on a Goblin, Orc, or Army, you deal 2 damage to an opponent, and every time one of those creatures dies, you exile the top card of your library and may play it. The primary plan is to flood the board with goblin tokens and amass effects, growing a single Army token while the commander drains the table. The deck wins through incremental drain, a wide goblin swarm, and big combat turns: Desert Were-Worm's extra combat, Crater's Claws as a finisher, and Siege-Gang Commander's sacrifice damage. It is a midrange value engine rather than a fast combo deck, relying on the commander's card-advantage engine to grind through the game.
