Format: Commander

Commander: Doctor Doom, King of Latveria

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Doctor Doom, King of Latveria makes Grixis discard an engine: every land pitched to a connive or draw-discard effect becomes 2 life lost to each opponent. The primary plan is to build a Villain-heavy battlefield-Baron Strucker, Madame Hydra, Crimson Cowl, Ultron-while using Currency Converter and other outlets to convert lands into drain and tokens. Secondary paths use Plan payoffs (Doom Reigns Supreme, Glorious Purpose), Mayhem recursion from Norman Osborn // Green Goblin, and reanimation like Too Evil to Stay Dead. The commander is single-faced; Norman Osborn // Green Goblin is a hidden Villain/mayhem engine in the 99. Wins arrive by draining life over several turns, then finishing with a pumped Menace/flying attack.
