Deck overview

This mono-red Commander deck is commanded by Lathliss, Dragon Queen, executing a high-impact Dragon tribal stompy game plan. The strategy ramps in the early turns using cost-reducing creatures like Dragonlord's Servant and Dragonspeaker Shaman alongside mana artifacts like Herald's Horn and Orb of Dragonkind. Once Lathliss enters the battlefield on Turn 5, every subsequent nontoken Dragon triggers her ability to produce a 5/5 flying Dragon token, rapidly doubling the board's offensive presence. ETB burn engines such as Dragon Tempest, Terror of the Peaks, and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployments into immediate direct damage to remove opposing blockers or reduce life totals. The deck overwhelms opponents with massive flying combat damage by Turn 8, augmented by team-wide firebreathing buffs and extra combat steps from Scourge of the Throne. While weak to mass creature exile and enchantment-based combos, the deck provides high threat density and resilient backup beaters.
