Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon tribal stompy deck commanded by The Ur-Dragon. The game plan revolves around leveraging passive mana reduction through Eminence, cost-reducing artifacts like Urza's Incubator, and early ramp to deploy massive, evasive Dragon beaters well ahead of curve. The engine achieves critical onset around Turn 5 by casting powerhouse threats such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Hellkite Courser, or Savage Ventmaw, while haste enablers like Dragon Tempest and Temur Ascendancy eliminate summoning sickness vulnerabilities. Card advantage is maintained through creature-ETB draw triggers and combat attack triggers. The deck can close out games across two combat cycles via overwhelming flying damage or instantly assemble an infinite combat combo using Savage Ventmaw and Aggravated Assault. Its primary vulnerabilities include a complete absence of stack interaction, a lack of noncreature removal, and susceptibility to mass creature sweepers.
