Deck overview

This deck is a Bant +1/+1 counters midrange build commanded by Yuna, Grand Summoner. The primary strategy focuses on deploying early mana acceleration to cast Yuna on Turn 3 or 4, then using her mana generation and counter-granting ability to deploy increasingly large creatures ahead of curve. The deck rapidly scales its battlefield presence using counter multipliers such as Hardened Scales, Master Biomancer, Innkeeper's Talent, and The Earth Crystal. Once a wide board is established around Turn 6, the deck converts high power into lethal combat damage using evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, Abzan Falconer, and Kodama of the West Tree, or one-sided sweepers like Wave Goodbye and Damning Verdict. A resilient suite of protection spells—including Ripples of Potential, Mutational Advantage, and Bulwark Ox—shields the team against board wipes, while Yuna and Resourceful Defense preserve counter investments across creature deaths.
