Deck overview

This deck is a five-color Dragon tribal deck commanded by Morophon, the Boundless. The core game plan focuses on establishing mana through land drops and mana rocks during the early turns, then casting Morophon on Turn 6 to eliminate the colored mana costs of Dragon spells. With Morophon on the battlefield, multi-colored Dragons such as Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Teneb, the Harvester, and The Kami War // O-Kagachi Made Manifest can be deployed for minimal or zero mana. Win conditions revolve around overwhelming aerial combat backed by damage multipliers like Scourge of Valkas, Warstorm Surge, and token generation from Lathliss, Dragon Queen. The deck incorporates backup cheat enablers like Jodah, Archmage Eternal and Elvish Piper to maintain momentum if Morophon is removed. Protection pieces such as Dragonlord Dromoka and Call the Spirit Dragons ensure that large Dragon boards survive removal and close out the game over two combat cycles.
