Deck overview

Beorn the Fierce commands a Mono-Green tribal stompy deck that merges low-cost Bear synergies with explosive big-mana beatdown. The primary strategy focuses on establishing early board presence with resilient Bears like Ayula, Queen Among Bears and Wilson, Refined Grizzly, curving into Beorn on Turn 4 to unlock continuous card draw and distribute trample counters. Once the engine stabilizes, the deck leverages high-impact mana doublers like Nissa, Who Shakes the World and powerhouses such as Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma to flood the battlefield with massive threats. Decisive finishers including Overwhelming Stampede, Unnatural Growth, and Triumph of the Hordes turn wide boards into lethal combat steps across Turns 5 to 7. While the deck boasts robust card replenishment and resilient protection against damage and destroy effects, it lacks stack interaction and remains vulnerable to exile sweepers like Farewell. Nevertheless, its sheer combat velocity and redundant stompy threats present an overwhelming mid-game clock.
