Deck overview

This deck is a Gruul lands-matter attrition strategy led by Klothys, God of Destiny. It accelerates mana through land-based ramp and leverages graveyard recursion via Life from the Loam, Six, and Conduit of Worlds to grind out incremental resource advantages. The commander provides persistent life drain, incidental ramp, and targeted graveyard disruption. The primary path to victory transitions from early-game attrition into overwhelming mid-game landfall triggers. Utilizing Dryad of the Ilysian Grove or Prismatic Omen, all lands function as Mountains to turn Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle into a repeatable burn engine, while token producers like Field of the Dead, Scute Swarm, and Titania, Protector of Argoth assemble lethal boards around Turn 6. Tutored utility lands like Glacial Chasm and Strip Mine grant defensive stability and targeted mana disruption while the deck builds toward a decisive finish.
