Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai Elf tribal strategy centered on Thranduil, the Elvenking. It combines classic Elf ramp with a graveyard toolbox engine. In the early game, low-cost mana producers such as Llanowar Elves, Priest of Titania, and Incubation Druid accelerate mana while cantrip creatures build board presence. The deck uses graveyard setup spells like Buried Alive to place Devoted Druid and Immaculate Magistrate into the graveyard. Once Thranduil enters and untaps, he inherits their activated abilities, allowing you to repeatedly place +1/+1 counters and untap him. This loop generates infinite power, infinite toughness, and infinite green mana, which can be funneled into Walking Ballista or lethal commander attacks. The deck also includes a compact backup win condition in Demonic Consultation plus Thassa's Oracle, alongside responsive spot removal and cheap hexproof protection.
