Commander: Zurgo Stormrender

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Zurgo Stormrender is a Mardu token swarm deck that uses attack triggers, death triggers, and enter-the-battlefield drains to bury three opponents. The commander is a repeatable card-draw engine: every attacking token that leaves (including its own Mobilize token) draws a card, while non-attacking token deaths drain. Secondary paths include Isshin and Windcrag Siege doubling attack triggers, Kaya and Thalisse multiplying token counts, and aristocrat payoffs like Bastion and Elas il-Kor. The hidden Zurgo, Thunder's Decree turns Warrior tokens into permanent attackers by stopping their sacrifice. The deck wins by going extremely wide, then finishing with All-Out Assault's extra combat or Neriv's double damage.
